I’m not really sure why this additional language requirement is being added. Don’t the points from the English and French language exam results already act as a priority system for English and French proficiency? Since you get a massive amount of points for doing well on the CELPIP/IELTS and TCF/TEF.

They already do interviews. My dad was called for an interview. The link doesn't indicate a blanket requirement for interviews. It's case by case which is already happening so I don't understand the point of the change.

Edit: ended up getting a 10 year visitor visa.

I don’t think they need skilled people In this country. As per the recent news and current immigration policy ,it is clearly visible that without proper checks and estimation they are implementing this plan.

Reason: no English requirement, no education, no skill expertise, no work experience , only French speaking credits, you are pr.

Moreover, people who dedicated their time, efforts during Covid , they are forcefully thrown out. Especially students. 

Furthermore, Trudeau government was so greedy to get international funding for refugees from IMF and pocketing those money for their own purposes.

Asylum, refugees were getting paid off from the tax player. Students bring GIC 10,000 CAD, citizens and PR pay taxes and whose benefiting refugees, asylum . You give them work, they denied - they only want money and circulate it - getting 12-15 percent interest.  Their basic needs like food, shelter and clothing were fulfilled by government so they don’t have to worry.

In the end, it is clear that current government is trying to hide their biggest flaws in the history of Canadian immigration, under the name of policy.

Back in the day before MLS, this was kinda common, but it was a different time in the 1980s with completely different workload.

This 'delayed marketing' is simply going to be an in-house listing until it goes further, keeping all the commissions for those close to the deal.  I don't see it as a help for clients in any way and will only encourage collusion.

Fwiw, the FEMA/New York clawback had nothing to do with the threat to withhold FEMA funds from states over immigration enforcement. Those funds were congressionally allocated money for migrant housing as part of a CBP/ICE program, managed by FEMA because FEMA is well equipped to manage large grants to local jurisdictions. 


But MAGA made up a story about FEMA giving money to migrants instead of hurricane victims, so they had to make a show of clawing those funds back because details and facts don't matter 🙄

The Conservative platform is essentially that they want to reverse a whole host of failed Liberal policies like the Liberal online censorship bill, the shrinking of our economy so that it's almost at a standstill, clemency for people who commit violent crimes by providing easy bail and light sentences, legalization of hardcore drugs, the carbon tax, insanely-inflated immigration, inflation that affects everything from food to housing affordability. This makes up their core platform. Polievre has promised to protect social services like Old Age Pension etc., and he wants the CBC to fund itself like any other non-profit does through donations, subscriptions, ads, etc, instead of taxpayer money.

Whereas the Liberal platform is pretending they didn't legislate any of this stuff, pretending Mark Carney wasn't Trudeau's economic advisor for the last five years and that his cabinet isn't exactly the same as Trudeau's, and suddenly pivoting on a few of their pet policies that they were so very vehement about for the last few years but have been extremely unpopular in this election (like the carbon tax, which is not eliminated, only paused).
